Anyone with half a brain knew it was total garbage. Trade a scoring power forward, that you need more of and on a great contract, for a young defenseman that they have in their system, yeah right.

I find it interesting that you were quick to call this "rumor" bs. Why? I doubt it's true myself, but if it doesn't pan out, all of a sudden this is a bs rumor, so technically, any rumor that isn't true is nothing more than bs, and since 99.99% of the rumors you put out are never true, well.... I guess are bs also.....

In his defence, his rumours are mostly that teams are discussing certain players or trade situations, whether or not a trade comes out of it doesn't determine whether that's BS or not.

In this case it was being reported that they'd agreed on a trade and it was "done", so if it doesn't happen then it's BS, yes.

Simmonds is coveted by every team in the league and I am certain the flyers are not even discussing moving him unless it is a colorful trade with the Habs, lol. I doubt the Habs are thinking about trading PK and that is why this rumor is just that. Who would the Flyers be targeting if it was true?? After Subban, Galchenyuk, Pacman or Gallagher who is injured I don't see anyone the right age or character or talent.

First off, pretty sure EK was saying Schenn for JVR about 3 months before it happened. And if you guys could read, it says per source it's BS. EK isn't saying its bs it's the source.

Why would we deplete our depleted defense? That trade is a joke. Not that I wouldn't like to see him in a hawks jersey as well, but having rozy and scuderi playing regular minutes is bad enough (although they have been fine on limited minutes). Who in our system is going to step up and take Seabrook's spot? Absolutely nobody currently. We are already facing an insane amount of shots against per game as compared to what we have grown accustomed to. Taking away our second best shot blocking defenseman, along with the defenseman with most points, most shots, most ppp, best plus/minus, and hits seems like a fantastic idea for a club deteriorating at defense.

This is just a Montreal pipe dream, Simmonds is only behind Giroux and Voracek on the Flyers and some nights he is even more valuable to the team. He does it all and brings it all, if he does get traded the return will be huge or Hextall is out of it.
